فضل المدينة النبوية
The Prophet's City (Madena)
(Taabah) the good and pure land, the place to which the noble Prophet ﷺ migrated and where he settled. It is the first city of Islam and the refuge of faith in times of trial.
Upon its soil walked the best of mankind in faith and deed, the most complete in following guidance, and the most upright in the truth sent down from Allah: our Messenger ﷺ and his noble Companions.
A prayer offered in its mosque equals a thousand prayers elsewhere, except the Sacred Mosque. To it journeys are undertaken, and in its presence one's stay is truly sweet.
What has been mentioned about Madena
The Prophet ﷺ said, as recorded in the two Sahihs: "What is between my house and my pulpit is a garden from the gardens of Paradise." (Agreed upon)
The Prophet ﷺ said: "Do not set out on a journey except to three mosques: the Sacred Mosque, the Mosque of the Messenger ﷺ, and Al-Aqsa Mosque." (Agreed upon)

The Prophet ﷺ said: "Ibrahim declared Makkah a sanctuary and prayed for its people. I have declared Madena a sanctuary just as Ibrahim declared Makkah a sanctuary, and I have prayed for a blessing in its saa' and its mudd twice what Ibrahim prayed for the people of Makkah." (Agreed upon). The two lava fields of Madena (al-Labatan, al-Harratan): harrah is land covered with black stones; Madena has an eastern and a western lava field and lies between them.
The Prophet ﷺ said, expressing his love for the people of Madena: "If the people were to take a valley or a mountain pass, and the Ansar took another valley or pass, I would take the valley of the Ansar, or the pass of the Ansar." (Agreed upon)
The Prophet ﷺ said of Mount Uhud: "This is a mountain that loves us, and we love it." (Agreed upon)
The Prophet ﷺ prayed to his Lord saying: "O Allah, make us love Madena as we love Makkah, or even more." (Agreed upon)
